I bought this car on eBay in March of 2005. Go to the bottom to see what the seller had to say about it.

Here's what the seller had to say about it:
"My wife was kind of between cars and we found this car at a swap meet. She fell in love the first time she drove it and had to have it. I has been adult driven and up until 6 months ago she was driving it daily. She, ok I, was like a kid in a candy store when we got the car and bought the complete rubber/weather stripping kit for it. Also bought the black convertible boot for it. The motor gave out and she had to have it replaced. I am no mechanic I had it professionally done to the tune of $4000.00. The battery was dead so it now has a new battery and almost new tires. The factory motor was supposed to be a 430 c.i.d but at some point it was replaced with a 455 so that is what I had put back in it. The wife got as much as 15 miles to the gallon but it averaged 10. I had the A/C charged with r12 and it worked until the motor was changed and one of evaporator lines rubbed the hood until it got a hole and leaked out all the Freon. This car is a land yacht but with all power accessories on the inside and even more power up front, it is a pleasure to drive. I have receipts for all work done. There is probably no more than 2000 miles on the tires and I paid over $400.00 for a set of five but one took a nail in the sidewall and now only four match. I can scan an e-mail you receipts or larger pictures. The drivers seat is in great condition but the rear seat has tears that are visible in the photos.

This car is a real head turner. Recently professionally installed 455 c.i.d motor. All power accessories except the right rear window work. The passenger side door window has a sloppy track and will jump track if not let down carefully.

Someone asked about Inspection and registration. If the buyer lives in Texas, I will get the registration up to date and get the car inspected. This is no big deal. I just bought another car (makes 5 cars and one truck for two drivers) and need the room. Might also consider that this car takes up and entire garage bay. I have always garaged the car.

Q: Is there fender skirts to the car?
A: Never found any for it. I bid on a few on E-Bay.
Q: Could this car be driven to Virginia as is?
A: I took good care of this car since my wife drove it daily and it would be hell to pay if she was left a'foot. Notice almost new altenator, Carb and regulator. The tags and inspection are out. Don't know if that is waived with the purchase of one-way permit.
Q: What condition is the top, and does the power top work? What condition all the glass? Do you have any pictures of the trunk without all the junk in it, like under the mat to see about rust and such? Do you have any idea what year model the 455 is?
A: In the ad there is a link to a webpage that has a bunch of different pictures. The top is pristine. Like the ad says, the only power accessory that is problematics is the right rear window. No idea what model the 455 is. All I can tell you is that it was bought by my mechanic from a large remanfacturing company in Dallas. I'll have to check about cleaning the trunk as this is automotive carpet in the trunk and I have never had it out. We have a local drive-in theater and it was a blast taking this car to the drive-in.
Q: Why are you selling this car? Any rust in car or frame? Any bondo in the body?
A: My wife bought the car on a whim but drove it for two years. I am selling it because she got a Toyota Camery 4 door that makes for a better and more fuel efficient people hauler. May be some bondo on right rear quarter but if there is damage it is not significant. I'll find a magnet and check. I think the car has spent it's life in Texas so no significant rust. A few places on the hood have missing paint and surface rust. "
